Crovani was established in Jakarta in 2021 as a response to a visible gap in the Indonesian nutritional supplement market — a gap between what was available and what was documentable.
A single question drove the founding: where does the ingredient actually come from?
Crovani began with a background in nutritional sciences and a sustained observation of the Indonesian supplement landscape. The market held many options. Fewer of those options came with clear answers to basic questions about ingredient origin, concentration, and independent verification.
The founding priority was documentation. Before any product reached the formulation stage, a traceability framework was established — a system for recording supplier information, incoming batch certificates, and finished product verification against labelled values.
The men's daily complex launched in late 2021 as the first product built within that framework. It has been reformulated once — in 2023, when updated nutritional research prompted a revision of the selenium and vitamin D3 inclusion rates. Both revision events are archived as part of the ongoing lot record system.
Three principles that shape every formulation decision.
Traceability before marketing.
No ingredient enters the composition until its supplier documentation is on file. Chain-of-custody records are established before formulation choices are finalised. This sequence — documentation first, product second — is maintained without exception.
Composition stability across seasons.
The daily measure does not change with promotional cycles. Ingredient ratios are reviewed on a defined schedule against published nutritional research — not adjusted in response to market trends. When a revision occurs, it is archived under a new revision number with a documented rationale.
Independent verification at batch level.
Ingredient profiles are selected based on published nutritional research and undergo independent batch verification for quality and labelling accuracy. Finished product samples are drawn from each production run and submitted to an external facility for elemental concentration analysis.

The following entries are drawn from the Crovani operations archive. They represent decision points rather than marketing milestones.
Traceability framework established.
The supplier qualification and batch documentation system is drafted and implemented. Revision: TR-01. Three initial suppliers are evaluated and placed on the approved-supplier list.
First production run completed.
The Crovani daily complex — men's formulation, revision 01 — enters production. Batch TKV-2021-001 through TKV-2021-004 are verified and archived. Independent laboratory confirmation received within 48 hours of each run.
Formulation revision 02 implemented.
Updated nutritional research prompts a revision of selenium and vitamin D3 inclusion rates. Formulation moves to revision 02. All active batches are clearly labelled with revision number. Revision rationale documented: RR-2023-02.
Second production line added.
A second production line is added to the Jakarta facility. Documentation: Revision 04-B, archived November 2024. Verification protocol extended to cover both lines with separate batch tracking sequences.
Crovani products are nutritional food-supplements registered with the applicable local regulatory authority under food-supplement classification. Products meet compositional and labelling requirements for nutritional supplement categories.
